Cascade Park Tree Planting Event
Quinte Conservation, Quinte Field Naturalists, City of Belleville, LCBO and Tree Canada are excited to offer a community tree planting event on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10am (until all trees are planted) in Cascades Park, at 33 Tracey Park Drive, Belleville. Parking is located along Cascade Blvd.
This free tree planting event is open to members of the public to participate. Trees provide a wealth of environmental, health and social benefits. Trees clean our air, absorb carbon, and slow climate change they provide food and shelter for wildlife and slow erosion while contributing to cleaner water, greener communities, and healthier people. Native trees are suited to our climate and weather conditions. Our wildlife also rely on them for food and shelter. Planting native trees helps to bring nature back into our developed landscapes.
Please note that this event is entirely outdoors, therefore please dress appropriately and bring water. Outdoor toilets are available. Event will take place rain or shine but will be cancelled via email in the event of thunder and lightening.

- Personal Supply of Water & Food (lunch & snacks)
- Mandatory Closed Toed Footwear (steel toed preferred)
- Hat
- Sunscreen & Bug Spray
- Gloves
- Shovels & Hand Spades (if able)
